God my life Savior
January 11 2006, …..on this day, a fine afternoon under the bright shinny day, I walked towards the open space car park(along Jalan Tun Razak, KL) to get my car to drive to meet up with one of my clients for sales presentation. It was close to 12:50pm when I entered into the car park. I noticed there is a motorcyclist also entering into the car park, but with not much suspicious, thinking that he may be one of the construction workers as there were building construction on both the left and right side of the car park. Of the fact my life was actually in danger….
The culprit make a 2 rounds turn (perhaps to make sure that it is alright for him to proceed with his action) before stopping his bike about less than 100m away from me. I was walking towards my car (about 50m away) with my left hand carrying my bag and right hand with a laptop.(the nature of my job would requires me to travel with laptop and LCD projector at times for presentation to my clients). Dressed in a decent manner (long sleeves blouse and jeans, white mirror helmet), the culprit came down from his bike (with the engine still on), walking very fast towards me and shouting “Hello! Hello!” I noted something is wrong and began to run, but, with my hills shoe and heavy laptop, I can’t afford to run fast. All I knew was that he manage to pull my laptop (though I did put a short struggle with him..), I realized I have to let go. The minute I let go, I shouted for help! The next second, he pulled out a long shiny knife or parang (at least 35 cm long) trying to attack me…oh God….I turn away from him and RUNN……..before I realized, I kicked on something and fell forward with my face facing the ground. That very crucial moment I should say….I knew I have no more energy to get up and continue with my run…..his ‘parang’ may be stabbing my back side at any time. Thank God, before I fell down, the Lord has granted me the wisdom to throw away my hand bag, which could have shift his attention to get my handbag instead of coming to me. My initial shout for help has actually caught the attention of a lady who just came down from her car and she too, shouted for help for me which eventually caught the attention of the surrounding construction workers who were on the 2nd & 3rd storey building The workers also shouted very fiercely at the culprit. They intended to help me, but they need time to get down from the high building. Perhaps several of this factors has shift his focus from attacking me…oh thank you heavenly Father. I dare not to wake up until I heard that his bike has actually sped out from the car park.
The lady who is also my witness cried out when she ran towards me, thinking that I could have been slashed by the culprit, even the construction workers all so worried looking at me when I got up from my falling position with bruises all around my body except for my face though my face would have suffered from cuts or bruises as my face was facing the ground when I fell down. According to the lady witness, the parang was so near behind me, should I have not fall forward, I would definitely have been stabbed by the parang. Heavenly Father, thank you so much for saving my life…I knew that at the very crucial moment, even my beloved mum could not save me, but you Lord, who has send your angels to protect me. I may suffered from injuries, yet it’s a blessing in disguise.
For the next few weeks, I have an unbearable pain on my right hand starting from the arm with deep cut and bruises all over and the same to both my kneecap.
Todate, that little small scar on my right elbow will always remind me. The Lord has save my life, I am just like risen from a death……
Glory be to Jesus!

Read only if you have time for God ?
Let me tell you, make sure you read all the way to the bottom. I almost deleted this email but I was blessed when I got to the end.
when I received this e-mail, I thought...I don't have time for this...
And, this is really inappropriate during work.
Then, I realized that this kind of thinking is...
Exactly, what has caused lot of the problems in our world today.
We try to keep God in church on Sunday morning... Maybe, Sunday night...
And, the unlikely event of a midweek service.
We do like to have Him around during sickness... And, of course, at funerals. However, we don't have time, or room, for Him during work or play... Because... That's the part of our lives we think... We can, and should, handle on our own.
May God forgive me for ever thinking... That... there is a time or place where.. HE is not to be FIRST in my life. We should always have time to remember all HE has done for us.
THE POEM
I knelt to pray but not for long, I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer, And jumped up off my knees. My Christian duty was now done My soul could rest at ease.
All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer.
No time to speak of Christ to friends, They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do, That was my constant cry, No time to give to souls in need But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord, I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God held a book; It was the book of life.
God looked into his book and said "Your name I cannot find. I once was going to write it down... But never found the time"
HERE IS A REMINDER:
There once was a man named George Thomas, pastor in a small New England town. One Easter Sunday morning he came to the Church carrying a rusty, bent, old bird cage, and set it by the pulpit. Eyebrows were raised and, as if in response, Pastor Thomas began to speak...
"I was walking through town yesterday when I saw a young boy coming toward me swinging this bird cage. On the bottom of the cage were three li! ttle wild birds, shivering with cold and fright.
I stopped the lad and asked, "What you got there, son?"
"Just some old birds," came the reply.
"What are you gonna do with them?" I asked. "Take 'em home and have fun with 'em," he answered. "I'm gonna tease 'em and pull out their feathers to make 'em fight. I'm gonna have a real good time."
"But you'll get tired of those birds sooner or later. What will you do?" "Oh, I got some cats," said the little boy. "They like birds. I'll take 'em to them."
The pastor was silent for a moment. "How much do you want for those birds, son?" "Huh?? !!! Why, you don't want them birds, mister. They're just plain old field birds. They don't sing. They ain't even pretty!"
"How much?" the pastor asked again. The boy sized up the pastor as if he were crazy and said, "$10?"
The pastor reached in his pocket and took out a ten dollar bill. He placed it in the boy's hand. In a flash, the boy was gone.
The pastor picked up the cage and gently carried it to the end of the alley where there was a tree and a grassy spot Setting the cage down, he opened the door, and by softly tapping the bars persuaded the birds out, setting them free.
Well, that explained the empty bird cage on the pulpit, and then the pastor began to tell this story.
One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation. Satan had just come from the Garden of Eden, and he was gloating and boasting. "Yes, sir, I just caught the world full of people down there. Set me a trap, used bait I knew they couldn't resist. Got 'em all!"
"What are you going to do with them?" Jesus asked. Satan replied, "Oh, I'm gonna have fun! I'm gonna teach them how to marry and divorce each other, how to hate and abuse each other, how to drink and smoke and curse. I'm gonna teach them how to invent guns and bombs and kill each other. I'm really gonna have fun!"
"And what will you do when you get done with them?" Jesus asked.
"Oh, I'll kill 'em," Satan glared proudly.
"How much do you want for them?" Jesus asked. "Oh, you don't want those people. They ain't no good. Why, you'll take them and they'll just hate you. They'll spit on you, curse you and kill you. You don't want those people!!"
"How much?" He asked again. Satan looked at Jesus and sneered, "All your blood, tears and your life."
Jesus said, "DONE!" Then He paid the price.
The pastor picked up the cage he opened the door and he walked from the pulpit.
Why is it so hard to tell the truth but Yet so easy to tell a lie? Why are we so sleepy in church but Right when the sermon is over we suddenly wake up? Why is it so hard to talk about God but yet so easy to talk about nasty stuff? Why is it so boring to look at a Christian magazine, but yet so easy to look at a nasty one? Why is it so easy to delete a Godly e- ma il, but yet we forward all of the nasty ones? Why are the churches getting smaller but yet the bars and dance clubs are getting larger?
Do you give up? Think about it .
Prayer Wheel-Let's see the devil stop this one! Here's what the wheel is all about. If, You aren't ashamed to do this... When you receive this, say a prayer for the person that sent it to you.... That's all you have to do....
This is the simplest test. If You Love God... And, are not ashamed of all the marvelous things HE has done for you... Send this to ten people and the person who sent it to you!
Jesus said, "If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father."
Yes, I do Love God. HE is my source of existence and Savior. He keeps me functioning each and every day. Without Him, I will be nothing. But, with Christ, HE strengthens me. (Phil 4:13)
Are you going to forward this, or delete it? Just remember-God is watching you.
There is nothing attached.... Do not stop the wheel, please....
Of all the free gifts we may receive, Prayer is the very best one.... There are no costs, but wonderful rewards
Pass this on ONLY IF YOU MEAN IT!!
Note:
Isn't it funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell. Isn't it funny how someone can say "I believe in God" but still follow Satan (who, by the way, also "believes" in God). Isn't it funny how you can send a thousand jokes through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing? Isn't it funny how when you go to forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to them. Isn't it funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me.
I pray, for everyone who sends this to their entire address book, they will be blessed by God in a way special for them. And send it back to the person who sent it, to let them know that indeed it was sent out to many more. Satan's Meeting Satan called a worldwide convention of demons. In his opening address he said,
"We can't keep Christians from going to church." "We can't keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the truth." "We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their savior." "Once they gain that connection with Jesus, our power over them is broken."
"So let them go to their churches; let them have their covered dish dinners, but steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ."
"This is what I want you to do", said the devil:
"Distract them from gaining hold of their Savior and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!"
"How shall we Do this?" his demons shouted.
"Keep them busy in the nonessentials of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds," he answered.
"Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow."
"Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles."
"Keep them from spending time with their children."
"As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work!"
"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small voice."
"Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive."
"To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs going constantly in their home and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays non-biblical music constantly."
"This will jam their minds and break that union with Christ."
"Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers."
"Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day."
"Invade their driving moments with billboards."
"Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogs, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products, services and false hopes."
"Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'll become dissatisfied with their wives." "Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night."
"Give them headaches too!"
"If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will begin to look elsewhere."
"That will fragment their families quickly!"
"Even in their recreation, let them be excessive."
"Have them return from their recreation exhausted."
"Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on God! 's creation."
"Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead."
"Keep them busy, busy, busy!"
"And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences."
"Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek power from Jesus."
"Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their health and family for the good of the cause."
"It will work!" 'It will work!"
It was quite a plan! The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Christians everywhere to get more busy and more rushed, going here and there. Having little time for their God or their families. Having no time to tell others about the power of Jesus to change lives.
I guess the question is, has the devil been successful at his scheme? You be the judge! Does "busy" mean: B-eing U-nder S-atan's Y-oke? Please pass this on to others, if you aren't too BUSY! |
